Our Story
The biological makeup of the skin, our largest organ has always intrigued Ja'Nala. One summer after returning home from visiting her son and family. The idea of re-starting a skincare line appeared in a dream. She thought about it and the economy and how she did not want to work for anyone else, trading her valuable time for dollars. She began writing down recipes and subscribing to natural organic sites to gain current information about the natural cosmetics industry and buying books. The next thing she was in the kitchen making products.
Our Name
The name ShaNuWater came to me while I was taking a creative writing class. In ancient times, the wife of a man who died was instructed to dip his body into the Shanute pond. When she did, his body became whole. From the story, I thought of the regenerating effects of water, and how without it nothing will grow or survive. I then began tossing the idea around in my head, what's in creams and lotions that help our skin stay moisturized and give it a youthful appearance and a new sense of vitality? Water - healing water. Hence, the name ShaNuWater Fountain of Youth was born.

Is to empower 50 Plus Women and Men to look and feel 30. Aging is a normal process in life. Yet, we can still look, feel, and be our very best cloaked in healthy, protected, soft, smooth, vibrant, and radiant skin that glows with youth.

A visionary and an advocate for natural skincare. Our brand offers over-the-phone esthetic consultations. We get to know our customer and their concerns about their skin.
