Green Tea has similar properties to Matcha. They are both from the Camellia Sinesis plant and have some key differences,  in the the preparation. Our green tea leaves are seeped and let stand in hot water for their richness and potency. The Matcha is a powder in the liquid tea extract and mix.  Matcha has a higher amount, of antioxidants, amino acids, and polyphenols which help protect skin from free radicals, anti-inflammation, and premature aging.  Matcha tea is considered a superfood and has beneficial vitamins, "Including catechins and L- theanine that calms and relaxes the skin. Another key difference is Matcha is grown in the shade for three weeks before harvest while green tea is grown in the sun. Matcha is, also more expensive.
