The Meaning Behind ShaNu Water

Our Name

The name ShaNuWater came to me while I was taking a creative writing class. In ancient times, the wife of a man who died was instructed to dip his body into the Shanute pond. When she did, his body became whole. From the story, I thought of the regenerating effects of water, and how without it nothing will grow or survive. I then began tossing the idea around in my head, what’s in creams and lotions that help our skin stay moisturized and give it a youthful appearance and a new sense of vitality?

Water – healing water. Hence, the name ShaNuWater Fountain of Youth was born.
